Oscar Wilde’s 1895 Comic Masterpiece – Re-imagined in the 21st century! One of the wittiest plays ever written, and the only known trifecta of playwriting to include a food fight, a baby rescued from the lost-and-found, and yummy cucumber sandwiches.

What to Expect
Jack Worthing and his buddy Algernon are respectable young men in public. However both have developed a secret identity (Codename ‘Earnest’) to escape the monotony of daily life. What they will do when the women they love BOTH develop an obsession with the mysterious (and non-existent) Earnest is anyone’s guess.
Equal parts satire and whimsical joy, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST is about identity, self-fashioning and what we see when we look in the mirror. Oscar Wilde’s elegant comedy holds that mirror up to a society full of people longing to “connect”, but hampered by their own silliness and ridiculous posing.
